In the book, this scene was where Calpurnia invited Jem and Scout to her church to show them what a minacious church is like in comparison to a white one. They well-educated that the black fraternity is much diametric to the white caller and the black society respects Atticus very much. The reason in removing this scene is because the main train of Atticus being respected by the black society was met during the end of the trial. When Atticus was leaving the courtroom and all the black people stood up for him as a sign of respect. The resolution was more li competent(predicate) more appalling in the movie for the viewers were able to see a large assort of people in a small courtroom stand up up for him, where the book briefly described it.
